2027 Scholarship Contest
February is National Heart Health Awareness Month
February is an opportunity to uplift, educate and inspire our communities about the importance of women’s heart health.
As part of our ongoing commitment to compassionate service and the power of youth leadership, CHRISTUS Health is proud to continue the Women With Heart Video Submission Contest for the graduating Class of 2027.
If you are a high school senior graduating in 2027, we invite you to share your voice and your vision. This is your opportunity to shine a light on women’s heart health and make a meaningful impact while earning a chance to receive a scholarship of up to $5,000.
Class of 2027 Video Competition
Ready to share your story?
Create a video and share what makes your journey special. Students in the Class of 2027 can submit their video and selfie in the Women With Heart Video Submission Contest for a chance to receive a scholarship.
Scholarship prizes:
- Grand Prize: $5,000
- Second Prize: $2,500
- Third Prize: $1,500
Submit your entry by January 29, 2027. Winners will be announced during the last week of February 2027.
What to Submit
- Record your video. Your video must be between 30 seconds and two minutes and can be vertical or horizontal. Smartphone videos are acceptable.
- Check your file size. Your video file cannot exceed 100MB.
- Submit one applicant per video.
- Complete the consent form. A parent must sign the consent form before you submit your entry.
- Choose a recent selfie. Upload your selfie with your video submission. Your selfie may be used on social media.
- Submit your entry by January 29, 2027.
- Check your class year. This competition is for students in the Class of 2027.

Choose Texarkana if you live in one of these counties:
Texas: Bowie or Cass County
Arkansas: Hempstead, Howard, Little River, Miller or Sevier County
Choose Shreveport/Bossier if you live in one of these parishes:
Bossier, Red River, Desoto or Caddo Parish
